Free for residents drop off
Battery Removal prior to drop off please
Remove all household batteries (alkaline, ni-cad, lithium and battery chargers)
- Ace Hardware accepts these items from county residents or go to https://hhw.santaclaracounty.gov to schedule a hazardous waste drop-off
Keep all components and cables of working items together for reuse
Separate working items from non-functioning items
Factory reset phones and tablets and remove Google/Apple accounts
Use carts that we provide to unload your items (team members will assist you if necessary)
